Dyslexic life with
Jo Rees

I’m Jo Rees, a qualified Dyslexia Assessor, SENCO, Author and Keynote Speaker.

I help dyslexic adults, parents and teachers understand dyslexia with more clarity, confidence and compassion.

Whether you’re an adult trying to understand yourself better, a parent looking for answers for your child, or a teacher wanting to support dyslexic learners with more confidence, I’m here to help you find the next right step.

If you’re a dyslexic adult (or you think you might be)

If you’ve spent years wondering why certain things feel harder than they “should”, I want you to know you’re not alone.

Whether you already know you’re dyslexic or you’re only just starting to explore it, I can help you understand how your brain works, recognise your strengths, and find practical ways to make everyday life, work, study and confidence feel easier.

If you’re a parent of a dyslexic child

If you think your child may be dyslexic, it can feel really overwhelming knowing where to start.

I can help you understand your child’s needs, explore screening or assessment options, and feel more confident having conversations with school. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

If you’re a teacher supporting dyslexic children

Supporting dyslexic learners can make a huge difference to their confidence, progress and self-belief.

I offer training, advice and resources to help you understand dyslexia more deeply and bring practical, dyslexia-friendly strategies into your classroom, so your pupils feel seen, supported and able to thrive.

Hi, I’m Jo

Qualified Dyslexia Assessor | SENCO | Author | Keynote Speaker | Dyslexic Advocate | Teacher

I’m a qualified Dyslexia Assessor, SENCO, Author, Keynote Speaker and proud dyslexic myself. I’m also mum to three wonderful dyslexic children, so my work is rooted in both professional experience and real life.

Through Dyslexic Life with Jo Rees, I support dyslexic adults, parents, schools and organisations with assessments, advice, training and resources that make dyslexia feel less confusing and a lot more understood.

My goal is simple: to help dyslexic people feel seen, supported and empowered to reach their full potential.

Not sure if it could be dyslexia?

Download my free dyslexia checklist and take the first step towards clarity.

If you think your child may be experiencing dyslexia, this free checklist is a great place to start. Adults can use it too if you’re wondering whether dyslexia could explain some of the challenges you’ve experienced.

It won’t give you a diagnosis, but it can help you organise your thoughts, spot common signs, and decide what to do next. That might mean speaking to your child’s teacher about dyslexia screening, exploring support in school, or considering a more in-depth independent dyslexia assessment for yourself or your child.

Pop your details below and I’ll send the checklist straight to your inbox.
