Speech pronunciation, spelling and reading they’re Speech pronunciation, spelling and reading they’re all connected and you have to understand how they work together in order to spell correctly! 

But as a dyslexic these are a huge catch 22 because often we’re not able to read a word so we don’t know how to pronounce it. We don’t know how it should sound so we don’t necessarily pronounce it correct correctly. We can’t necessarily identify hearing all of the sounds in a word because of her phonological awareness deficit so how on earth are we gonna be able to spell it?

This is why we need to work on what we call phonological awareness and all four of these skills at the same time!
